Project Description:

As the third phase of a large undertaking, this apartment community is the jewel of the Platinum Triangle development encompassing 1,079 rental homes and a 1.1-acre public park with pedestrian connectivity directly adjacent to Angels Stadium. Distinctly programmed, yet cohesively designed, the new neighborhood block contributes 14,340 SF of community-oriented retail space, activating street frontages, and fostering a walkable, integrated urban district. Open catwalks surrounding the corner plaza are reminiscent of stadium promenades and offer views of Angel Stadium.

This phase, dubbed “Sports Town,” assumes an industrial sports persona. Its colors and materials represent the hometown team, featuring glass, metal, and concrete. A skybox lounge, evoking the exclusivity of stadium suites, is integrated into the design creating an indoor/outdoor environment. The courtyards on the podium level are uniquely designed due to their larger than normal size, which provides a deeper pool and wading area and creates a sunken lounge in the center. Maximizing the space on the podium level maintained a lower occupancy and provided an opportunity for additional amenities. Adding to the sports identity of the community, a recreational turf, sports simulation room, and top-of-the-line fitness center embody a healthy residential environment. Dual roof decks provide expansive stadium views as well as prime viewing of the nightly Disneyland Fireworks, and a clubroom, business center, and even a pet spa make this amenity-rich community a desirable place to call home. Upscale retail and dining uses engage at the ground level and provide a walkable solution for pre- and post-game revelry. Residences offer an array of luxurious living accommodations from studio to three bedrooms, complete with vaulted ceilings, oversized balconies, and high-end finishes. Through careful planning, the project achieves an integrated, pedestrian-friendly, rich urban lifestyle via prominent corner elements, dynamic massing, color blocking, and materials.

From the exclusive amenities to the street-level shops and eateries, it is obvious that this project fits the context of Anaheim, creating an eye-catching block and an exciting place to live as residents can enjoy a prime location with optimal views and endless options This building is the third phase in the series of apartment developments for the Platinum Triangle area, connecting new-age design elements and mimicking themes of the surrounding community while integrating green spaces and public nodes to generate social engagement and a pedestrian-friendly street presence.
