Project Description:
This professional service firm sought to relocate to a new space which would be well-suited to support a diverse clientele from various industries; would attract and retain staff of myriad demographics; would support growth and programmatic change over the next 10 years; would integrate the health, safety and wellness-based space protocol of their strategic planning initiatives and would provide a more dynamic experience than the space they were vacating.
This location offers full height, perimeter glazing on all elevations, unique bay depth, opportunities to create universal accessibility and to meet programmatic and strategic business goals.
The office plan features comfortable, open modular work areas, private and flex meeting, learning and social amenity areas; and the support and collaboration zones within a modest square foot construction budget applied strategically and evenly across the floor.
The well-branded, meaningful space tells a story about who their clients are, what they do and why it matters – a purpose - critical to support for innovation and high performance. The branded features and social areas highlighted by graphics, technology, displays and amenities at the foundation of the internal culture; the staff experience.
Long, efficient bench-style workstations support the functional space needs of staff, balancing comfortable workspace with adjacent meeting and responsive use areas, brimming with technology, flex furnishings and social and refreshment touch-downs. While also fostering interaction, movement, and supportive technology, the plan offers spaces that transform from open to closed and from focused to collaborative, with modular components, throughout. Through cleverly-placed collaborative zones, multi-functional lighting controls, digital technology and A/V systems with these adaptable configurations and furnishings, the zone activity-based infrastructure encourages circulation and movement, allowing employees to choose spaces that best suit their tasks, and are designed to promote wellness and efficiency. Intuitive circulation and movement flow freely, accentuating the free-flow of ideas.
Visual transparency is a key element, achieved through thoughtful use of glass partitions and strategically placed solid partitions, enhancing connectivity and creating a sense of unity.
The activity-based spaces transform from quiet focused work to dynamic group discussions. Harnessing natural daylight for these functions not only reduces energy consumption but also uplifts mood and productivity.
The office is an embodiment of the company's branding and messaging, reflected through carefully curated visuals, colors, and graphics. The design thoughtfully considers the surrounding context, integrating elements that harmonize with the environment.
